A noble travel humidor from the top Habanos brand COHIBA is now on the market. It is made in the Spanish region of Ubrique in southern Andalusia, which is world-famous for its long tradition in leather craft. This is also where the El Petaquero company is based, where this humidor is made. It is covered with embossed black beef liver, which is set off with a yellow edge. There is also a metal plaque with the logo of the COHIBA brand on the lid.
The neatly crafted body of the humidor is made of American oak that has been dried for two to three years and perfectly supports the aroma of the cigars. The humidor offers space for five cigars with a ring gauge of 54. A leather strap holds the cigars in place and prevents damage during transport. A pocket for a cutter and a lighter is also included. A (passive) humidifying element is used to moisten the cigars. A large digital hygrometer shows the current relative humidity and temperature in the humidor. It is attached magnetically in the lid. It is closed with a zipper.
To protect the fine leather, the luxurious humidor is in a velvet bag and is packed in a high-quality box made of sturdy cardboard in the colors and with the COHIBA logo. The humidor is therefore perfect as a special gift for discerning aficionados..
