Details
The Reserva and Gran Reserva lines from Habanos consist of classics from the range, which are made from specially aged tobaccos.
Now, the Cohiba Espléndido is another absolute classic, a Gran Reserva made from tobaccos from the 2017 harvest! The Cohiba Espléndidos format has been part of the brand's standard range since 1989 as part of the Línea Clásica. With a length of 178 mm and an average ring gauge of 47, the Julieta No.2 format, known as "Churchill", is one of the most elegant, classic cigars.
The Cohiba Espléndidos Gran Reserva Cosecha 2017 consists of particularly carefully aged tobaccos from the 2017 harvest (in Spanish "cosecha") and is therefore indisputably one of the most exclusive and exceptional pleasures in the world of Habanos. It goes without saying that only the most experienced rollers are selected in the factories to roll these masterpieces from the best tobacco leaves. Only 5,000 individually numbered boxes of 15 cigars each are released worldwide for each Gran Reserva edition.
Without a doubt, this will soon be one of the most sought-after rarities for Habanos collectors.
To produce the Gran Reservas, only tobaccos that have been aged for at least five years for the filler, binder and wrapper are used, which come from the best Vegas Finas de Prima from the Pinar del Rio area.
The cigar rings are equipped with an NFC chip for the first time. This technology allows aficionados to scan the NFC chip on the packaging to verify the authenticity of the product and obtain additional information about the cigar.
