The H.Upmann Connossieur No.2 is already the second Habanos world novelty, for the introduction of which 5THAvenue Products Trading-GmbH, as the official sole importer of Habanos for Germany, Austria and Poland, is responsible. The production name of the new format is “Bohemio”. With a length of 134 mm and a ring gauge of 51, this slightly enlarged Robusto is unique in the Habanos range. For the first time ever, a vitola with a ring gauge of 51 appears in the Habanos range. It bears the name H.Upmann Connossieur No.2 and thus complements the "Connossieur" line of the traditional brand that was launched in 1844. The Connoisseur No.1 was introduced as early as the 1960s, at that time with the correct spelling for the English word for "connoisseur" or "gourmet". Why the "i" is now behind the double s is not known. The two formats Connossieur A and B are also written with the "i" after the double s. Both are available exclusively in the Casas del Habano and from Habanos Specialists. As a brand, H.Upmann has a special relationship with Germany. Its founder, Hermann Hupmann, was a banker from Germany who valued Cuban cigars so much that he moved to Havana in 1844, where he then worked as a banker and cigar manufacturer. His bank had to close shortly after 1920, but his cigars live on to this day as an excellent example of a light to medium-bodied Habano. This typical taste can also be found in the new H.Upmann Connossieur No.2. The fine long fillers are available in classic cabinet boxes of 25 pieces.
