The name is "Preferido", which in Spanish means "crowd pleaser". The choice of this name is no coincidence, because the format "Montesco" (with a length of 130 mm and a huge ring gauge of 55) already made a worldwide sensation as Romeo y Julieta Wide Churchill and became from the start a first choice of many Aficionados. Now this great format will be released for the first time with the medium-strength blend of the Punch brand.
Of these cigars, there will be only 10,000 boxes of 10 pieces, each numbered individually.

Punch is one of the oldest brands of Habanos. Don Manuel Lopez of Juan Valle & Co. founded this brand in the mid-19th century with a view to the profitable UK market. At that time a satirical magazine of the same name celebrated great successes there. A satisfied Mr. Punch, the clown who represented the magazine, is still on each box with a cigar in his hand. His portrait is surrounded by 19th-century illustrations of 19th-century cigar production, which survived virtually unchanged for a century and a half.
Following the cessation of some Punch cigars in recent years, 5THAvenue now selects a format of this long-established brand as exclusive Edición Regional for the second time since 2012 (punch "Sir John").
The cigars carry the Ediciones Regional typical second ring with the imprint "Exclusivo 5ta Avenida", the Spanish name for 5THAvenue. They are offered in all three markets in the sales area of the official sole importer for Germany, Austria and Poland.
The cigars are made from a selection of the finest tobaccos from the Vuelta Abajo, the home of tobacco, considered one of the best in the world. Especially experienced Torcedores (cigar rollers) were selected to make this noble Longfiller after only in Cuba to date exclusively used method "totalmente a mano".
