Don Francisco Fonseca founded his brand in the 1890s.

He was a good-looking man who set great store on his outer appearance, and also transferred this elegant preciseness to his cigars. He wrapped them in tissue paper – a tradition continued to this day with some of the formats which carry his name.

The delicate mixture of the Fonsecas in fillers and binders from Vuelta Abajo makes them the ideal cigar after a light meal. The short fillers of Fonseca are made of tobacco from the tobacco cultivation zone Semi Vuelta.

All formats are totalmente a mano – manufactured completely by hand. Three are long fillers, one is a short filler.
