SOFORT is an online direct payment transfer that works with your own online banking details.

1. Select your bank
Select your country and with the help of the bank's sort code, choose the bank that will carry out the transfer.

2. Login
Log in with your own online banking login details. The information will be sent to your bank in an encrypted form.

3. Set-up the transfer
You will be asked for a confirmation code. Each confirmation code can be used only once and for your security cannot be entered a second time. The online merchant receives confirmation of the transfer order in real time and can dispatch the goods promptly.

• The submission of your online banking details and of the confirmation code, occurs entirely in the secure payment form of SOFORT GmbH, where the merchant has no access.

Please enter your card data on our payment page. We have a security server software with SSL encoding, which protects your card data from manipulation during the transmission. The order value is deposited as payment on your card, and debited after the goods have been dispatched. If the order should be cancelled, the amount will be re-credited to your card.

Payment with Visa or Mastercard

Our system checks whether the credit card or debit card takes part in the 3 D security programmes Verified by Visa oder Mastercard SecureCode. These security procedures check whether the legal card holder and the legal online merchant take part in a transaction. If a credit card holder is signed in via one of the registration methods of the 3 D Secure procedures, after entering the card data an input mask opens which is connected with your bank and requests the entry of the "Secure Codes", (a password you have chosen) (the Secure Code is a password you have chosen) . The transaction is carried out with the correct password.

If your credit card is registered for none of these procedures, the payment is carried out without further authentication.

Payment with American Express

Our system checks whether the delivery address given in the order is identical to the address which is deposited as invoice address with American Express (Amex address verification system, short "AVS"). If the addresses are not identical, you will be asked in an email to deposit the deviating delivery address with American Express. Your delivery will only be dispatched after successful authentication.

The credit notes for return shipments are credited back on the credit card you have deposited for the purchase.

In the payment step, you choose the payment method prepayment and subsequently receive a confirmation which contains our bank connection, to which you please transfer the total amount giving the order number.

• The confirmation of receipt automatically ensues by email.
• If bank charges or fees should accrue for the transfer, these are to be borne by the customer.
• A credit note resulting from return shipments is transferred to the bank account from which the order was paid.
